- My beautiful baby boy. He is the light of my life and I could never express with words how much I love him. I am especially thankful for the little things: his smiles, the feeling of his soft hair against my face, the way he holds my finger in his hand, the noises he makes, the deep blue color of his eyes, and the way he likes to snuggle into my neck to fall asleep.
- My husband. He is my best friend and knows me so well. He is a great cook, one of the smartest people that I know and can always make me smile. He is the only other person in the world who comes close to loving Eli as much as I do.
- My dogs. Rosie and Cujo are our first children. I especially love how Cujo stays by me all day long and how Rosie snuggles with us in bed every night underneath the covers.
- My health and the health of my family. There is really nothing that is more important than this.
- My home. I am thankful that we have a little place to call our own.
- My family. No one knows you like your family. I am thankful for all that my parents did for us. I am thankful for my sister and brother, they can always make me laugh.
- My friends. I am really blessed with some incredible girlfriends. They are all amazing women and they each enrich my life. I am especially thankful this year for my new "FH friends." I don't know how I would have made it through Eli's FH diagnosis without them.
- My job and my husband's job. I am thankful that we are able to pay our bills and support our little family.
- My bed. My in-laws got us a really nice mattress as a wedding gift and boy is it comfortable.
- A hot shower, warm coffee and chocolate. Some of my favorite things.

Three Decades
On Monday I will be 30 years old and although it seems strange, if I think about it, I guess it does kind of make sense. To mark this occasion I wanted to reflect on the things that I am most thankful for.
