Dear Eli,
You are 11 mths old! In less than one month, you will be 1 year old - wow how time flies!!
Here is what you have been up to this past month:
- You got your leg and have adjusted quite well. Every day you seem more comfortable with it and I am so proud of you.
- Last weekend you pulled up to standing for the first time without your leg on - it was amazing.
- You are a crawling machine and are in to everything. We have officially started to babyproof the house :)
- I finally cut your bangs this month, and am going to hold off on a first official hair cut for as long as I can.
- You now take your baths in the big tub and LOVE it!
- You now want to eat and drink whatever I am eating and drinking. You are doing much better with table food and are becoming a good eater.
- You have 8 teeth and hate getting them brushed.
- We moved your car seat to the forward facing position so you could fit better with your leg on and you love it. You think the wipers are the most hysterical thing ever.
- You favorite activities are reading, playing with wheels and blocks. You are starting to show a lot of interest in your shape sorters.
- You love your Baby Signing Time DVDs and think it is so funny when I do signs for you.
Love,
Mama
Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of Eli!
Brings back a lot of memories...we let Ethan's blonde hair grow until we started getting comments about him being a cute little girl!
Glad to see the artificial leg is working out better. He'll be up and running really soon!
-Jeff Brantly
He looks so handsome and happy!
ReplyDeleteEli looks like such a little kid rather than a baby in these pictures. I love it. Can you believe it was right at a year ago when we were all in Florida and had a baby shower. It seems both like yesterday and like five years ago. :-) Thanks for the pictures. He is so freakin' cute!
ReplyDeleteKristina, Eli just gets more gorgeous with every photo!! What a happy little boy, I just love reading your blog!!
ReplyDeleteKristina and Jared...what a wonderful thing you are doing by giving Eli a history of his life, transition to new leg, etc...I can just see him as an adult going back to read all this..he seems to be growing so well. Thinking of you...let's have dinner. Marilyn
