Happy 3rd Birthday Eli!

Happy 3rd Birthday my sweet boy!

You have a cold today, but we had a special day.  You woke up and opened presents, had a sweet bread for breakfast and watched Blues Clues.  You played with your big rig, park and play garage and cars all morning, and then we went to the park.  You swang on your favorite red swing and then explored the play structure.  There was a friendly yellow lab there and she made you smile and laugh.  We came home for lunch and you were so excited that Daddy got you some new cars to play with on your garage and big rig.  You didn’t want to take a nap because you were having so much fun, but you ended up sleeping for 2.5 hours.

We went on a walk in the BOB stroller after your nap and the day was a perfectly beautiful fall day.  We came home and Daddy made you guacamole and you played some more.  At dinner time we were listening to the playlist I made for you and you kept requesting, “What a Wonderful World.”  You didn’t enjoy it when Daddy & I sang “Happy Birthday” to you and I blew out your candles for you. 

We danced, snuggied and sang “Wheels on the Bus,” “ABC’s,” and a “Counting” song many times.  Happy Birthday my love!  You are my angel, my darling, my star, and my love will be with you wherever you are.  You are loved.
