Three Months Old

Dear Eli,

You turned three months old yesterday, on your very first Christmas. Once again I cannot believe how fast you are growing up and changing right before my eyes; this month just flew by. You are such a sweet and happy baby. Everyone who meets you says how good you are and it is definitely the truth. You hardly every cry, and when you do it is because you are hungry or tired. You are smiling all the time now and even laughing. You love it when I sing to you, even though I can't carry a tune. I love when we just sit together and "talk." That always makes you smile and laugh. You have started to drool a lot and have found your hands!

You have been sleeping through the night all month and in your cradle! You fall asleep anywhere between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. and usually sleep until around 6:00 a.m. You take a nap in your swing after your first morning feeding and then take a few cat naps throughout the day. You are still eating about every two hours, but it still takes up to an hour to feed you. You are definitely a "snacker" and love to eat a little bit at a time.

You still love baths, your bouncy seat, and your swing! This month you have really enjoyed your activity mat, especially the lights and music. You don't really like tummy time and will only cooperate for about 2 minutes. Same thing with your Bumbo seat, you'll sit in there for maybe a few minutes. I am sure you'll like both of those things more this month.

I packed up all of your 0-3 mth clothes and you have almost outgrown your 3-6 mth clothes. Last week when we were at Shriners you weighed 15 lbs 11 oz and were 25 inches long.

I can't even describe how much I love you! I miss you when you are sleeping and look forward to seeing you the moment you wake up. I love you so much my little handsome prince.
